Royal Artillery Cadet Cap Badge

The Royal Artillery was raised in 1716 when George I chose to keep two regular companies of Field Artillery as opposed to disbanding them after they were no longer required. They have remained a stable regiment ever since, serving in conflicts all over the world.

Notable conflicts include the Napoleonic Wars, the Crimean War, as well as both World Wars.

This fine brass reproduction of the regiment badge features the crowned cannon or the Royal Artillery, as well as the inscription 'Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt' ('Where Right And Glory Lead'). However instead of the Latin 'Ubique' (Everywhere) which is found on the main regiment badge, this version is inscribed with 'Cadet'. It has an aged look, and is designed to be pinned to a beret, but does not come with an attachment pin.
