German Army Gebirgsjager Metal Edelweiss Badge

The badges takes the form of the Edelweiss flower, as worn by the Gebirgsjager (German Mountain Troops) of WW2 Germany. They were worn on the caps, or 'Bergmutze'.

These badges are a two piece construction, with the Edelweiss flower featuring a zinc finish and gilt detailing to the centre.
