Grand Cross of the Order of the German Eagle with Star & Swords

The Grand Cross of the Order of the German Eagle with Star was one of the highest political awards of the Nazi Party. It was introduced by Hitler himself, and was awarded predominantly to foreign diplomats.

This was the highest version of the award between 1939 and 1943, and would have been worn with a sash alongside the 1st Class version. The addition of swords denote a military recipient.

These awards are made from a zinc alloy, and feature a vertical pin on the reverse.
