M43 Edelweiss Cap Badge (Officer) - Aged

Gebirgsjager Officer cap badge, with an aged, antique finish. Sew on type.

These metal edelweiss badges were worn by German Army "Gebirgsjager" Mountain Troops on the unique ‘Bergmutze’ field cap.

The insignia takes the form of a die struck nickel Edelweiss flower with a gilt metal stamen in the centre.

This type is sewn onto the cap.
