Kriegsmarine Auxiliary Cruiser Badge

Merchant ships, referred to as Auxiliary Cruisers and represented on the badge by a Viking Ship, were used by the Kriegsmarine throughout WW2 to patrol shipping lanes and engage allied ships they came across. This badge was introduced by Grand Admiral Raeder to recognise their efforts.

These smart reproductions of the award are made from a zinc alloy, and feature the correct vertical pin and makers mark on the reverse.
