Product Details
On December 29th this final, golden variant of the Knights Cross was authorised.
Intended originally for the 12 most distinguished servicemen in the whole of the German Armed Forces once the war had ended. But only six sets were manufactured. One set was presented to Hans-Ulrich Rudel, the most decorated German pilot of the war, and the remaining five were seized by US troops from Schloss Klessheim.
These excellent reproduction badges feature a set of large golden oakleaves, sitting above crossed swords, studded with imitation diamonds. The reverse has a large ribbon loop fastening. The badge measures approx. 4cm x3cm.
