Mother's Cross in Silver - 2nd Pattern

The Silver standard of the Mother's Cross was bestowed as a 'Fuhrergeschenk' (gift of the Fuhrer) to mothers of six or seven children. The second pattern of the medal bore the inscription on the reverse reading '16. Dezember 1938', the date the medal was instituted.
