Also known as the Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, or Bundesverdienstorden, abbreviated BVO, the Order of Merit is the only Federal decoration of the Federal Republic of Germany.
This beautiful reproduction is comprised of a gilt cross and is enamelled with a bright red enamel, and a black enamel Bundesadler. This is the Commander version of the order and comes with 12 inches of Red, yellow and black ribbon.
