Kriegsmarine Metal Breast Eagle - Gold

These gilt, metal breast eagles were worn on the right breast of the tropical tunic by members of the Kriegsmarine. They feature the maker's 'A' mark of Assmann & Sohn on the reverse alongside a pin fitting.

This large eagle is die-struck in solid brass with a heavy semi-matt gilt plate finish.
