US Army Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal

Since its institution in 1961 this medal was awarded to members of the Armed Forces who participated in U.S. military operations, U.S. operations in direct support of the United Nations, or U.S. operations of assistance for friendly foreign nations.

The medal depicts an eagle carrying a sword, and comes boxed in a dark blue cardboard box, and also comes with the associated ribbon bar.
