Modern SAS Parachute Wings

The modern type wings patch of Special Air Service paratroopers. The S.A.S. wings differ from regular parachutist wings as they are based o the stylised sacred ibis wings of Isis, from Egyptian Mythology.

The excellent reproduction embroidered patch features the wings design at the centre, embroidered in white, sky and navy blue thread on a black backing. This modern variant has uplifted wings, as opposed to the straight-edged top of the older patch.
