Product Details
The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey), also known as the 2nd of Foot, was England’s oldest infantry Regiment formed in 1661. In 1966 the regiment was amalgamated with several others to form the Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment, and later again in 1992 into the current Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment.
Notable conflicts include the Napoleonic Wars, the Second Boer War, conflicts in Asia including the Opium Wars with China, as well as both World Wars.
This fine reproduction of a 1940's regiment badge features the Paschal Lamb, with a halo and St. George's flag. It has an aged look, and is designed to be pinned to a beret, but does not come with an attachment pin.
